Musnad Ahmad 943:8

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Sulayman, from Abu Wa'il, from Abdullah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, that he said: "Whoever swears a false oath to seize the property of a man—or he said: his brother—will meet Allah while He is angry with him." And the confirmation of that was revealed in the Quran: "Indeed, those who exchange the covenant of Allah and their oaths for a small price, those will have no share in the Hereafter," [Al-Imran: 77], up to, "a painful punishment" [Al-Imran: 77]. He said: Then Al-Ash'ath met me and said: "What did Abdullah narrate to you today?" I said to him: "Such and such." He said: "It was revealed regarding me."
