Musnad Ahmad 658:109

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from 'Adi ibn Thabit, who said: I heard al-Bara' ibn 'Azib narrating that he heard the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him—or he said: from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him—that he said regarding the Ansar: "None loves them except a believer, and none hates them except a hypocrite. Whoever loves them, Allah loves him, and whoever hates them, Allah hates him." He [the narrator] said: I said to him, "Did you hear this from al-Bara'?" He said, "He narrated it to me."
