Musnad Ahmad 658:135

Hajjaj narrated to us, Shu'bah informed us, from 'Abdullah ibn Abi al-Safar, who said: I heard Abu Bakr ibn Abi Musa narrating from al-Bara', that when the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, would wake up, he would say: "Praise be to Allah who gave us life after He caused us to die, and unto Him is the resurrection." Shu'bah said: This, or something similar in meaning. And when he would sleep, he would say: "O Allah, in Your name I live and in Your name I die."
