Musnad Ahmad 658:214

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from 'Abdullah ibn Abi al-Safar, he said: I heard Abu Bakr ibn Abi Musa narrating from al-Bara', that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, when he would wake up, he would say: "Praise be to Allah who gave us life after He caused us to die, and to Him is the resurrection." Shu'bah said this: Or something of this meaning. And when he would sleep, he would say: "O Allah, in Your name I live and in Your name I die."
