Hadith of Al-Bara' bin 'Azib (RA)

Hadith 658:7

Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Shu‘bah narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, who said: I heard al-Bara’ saying: A man recited [Surat] al-Kahf while there was an animal in the house, and it began to shy away. He looked, and behold, a mist or a cloud had covered him. They both said: This was mentioned to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he said: "Read on, so-and-so, for it is the tranquility (al-sakinah) that descended at the [recitation of the] Quran, or descended for the Quran."
