Musnad Ahmad 658:72

Yahya narrated to us, from Sufyan, Abu Ishaq narrated to me, he said: I heard Al-Bara’ say: "We prayed with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, towards Bayt al-Maqdis for sixteen months, or seventeen months—Sufyan was in doubt—then we were turned towards the Kaaba."
