Musnad Ahmad 658:89

Waki’ narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Al-Bara’ ibn ‘Azib, who said: "{Not equal are} [An-Nisa: 95] those of the believers who sit [at home], except those who have a disability." He said: When it was revealed, ‘Amr ibn Umm Maktum came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he was blind. He said: "O Messenger of Allah, what do you command me? For I am blind." Then Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, revealed: "except those who have a disability" [An-Nisa: 95]. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, then said: "Bring me the shoulder blade and the inkwell, or the tablet and the inkwell."
