Musnad Ahmad 156:1

Yahya ibn Sa’id narrated to us, Hajjaj—meaning al-Sawwaf—narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from ‘Ikrimah, from al-Hajjaj ibn ‘Amr al-Ansari, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying. And Isma’il said: Hajjaj ibn Abi ‘Uthman informed me, he said: Yahya ibn Abi Kathir narrated to us, that ‘Ikrimah, the freed slave of Ibn ‘Abbas, narrated to him, he said: Al-Hajjaj ibn ‘Amr al-Ansari narrated to me, he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "Whoever breaks [a bone] or becomes lame, he has become released [from the state of Ihram], and upon him is another Hajj." He said: So I mentioned that to Ibn ‘Abbas and Abu Hurayrah, and they both said: "He spoke the truth." Isma’il said: So I narrated that to Ibn ‘Abbas and Abu Hurayrah, and they both said: "He spoke the truth."
