Musnad Ahmad 67:1

Bahz and ‘Affan narrated to us, they said: Abu ‘Awanah narrated to us, from Ya’la ibn ‘Ata, from al-Walid ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman, from al-Harith ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn Aws al-Thaqafi, who said: I asked ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab about a woman who circumambulates the House (the Kaaba) and then menstruates. He said: "Let her last act be the circumambulation of the House." Al-Harith said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, gave me the same fatwa." ‘Umar said: "May your hands be covered in dust (an expression of surprise/reproach). You asked me about something you had asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, about? But I will not contradict him."
