Hadith 115:1
Yunus ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Ghasil narrated to us, he said: Hamza ibn Abi Usayd informed us—and his father was a Badrite—from al-Harith ibn Ziyad al-Sa'idi al-Ansari, that he came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, on the day of the Trench, while he was taking the pledge of allegiance from the people for the Hijrah (migration). He said: "O Messenger of Allah, will you take the pledge from this one?" He said: "And who is this?" He said: "My cousin, Hawt ibn Yazid—or Yazid ibn Hawt." He said: So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "I will not take your pledge. Indeed, the people are migrating to you, and you do not migrate to them. By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, no man loves the Ansar until he meets Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, except that he will meet Allah while He loves him; and no man hates the Ansar until he meets Allah, except that he will meet Allah while He hates him."
حدثنا يونس بن محمد، حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن الغسيل، قال: أخبرنا حمزة بن أبي أسيد، وكان أبوه بدريا، عن الحارث بن زياد الساعدي الأنصاري، أنه أتى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يوم الخندق، وهو يبايع الناس على الهجرة، فقال: يا رسول الله، بايع هذا؟ قال: " ومن هذا؟ " قال: ابن عمي حوط بن يزيد - أو يزيد بن حوط - قال: فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لا أبايعك ، إن الناس يهاجرون إليكم، ولا تهاجرون إليهم، والذي نفس محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم بيده، لا يحب رجل الأنصار حتى يلقى الله تبارك وتعالى، إلا لقي الله، وهو يحبه، ولا يبغض رجل الأنصار حتى يلقى الله، إلا لقي الله وهو يبغضه "
