Hadith of Al-Husayn ibn Ali (RA)
Hadith 17:5
Yazid and Abbad ibn Abbad narrated to us, they said: Hisham ibn Abi Hisham—Abbad said: ibn Ziyad—informed us, from his mother, from Fatimah bint al-Husayn, from her father al-Husayn ibn Ali, from the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), who said: "There is no Muslim man or Muslim woman who is afflicted with a calamity, then remembers it—even if its time has passed"—Abbad said: "its time has become distant"—and says the *istirja* (saying 'Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un') for that, except that Allah renews for him at that moment [the reward], and gives him the like of its reward on the day he was afflicted by it."
