The remainder of the hadith of al-Miqdad ibn al-Aswad: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) in a state of distress that I have never seen anyone in such a state before. He said: 'I was sent before the Hour, between the hands of the Hour, with the sword, until Allah is worshipped alone, with no partner for Him. And my provision was placed under the shadow of my spear, and humiliation and lowliness were placed upon those who disobey my command. And whoever imitates a people, he is one of them.'"
