Hadith of Al-Miqdam ibn Ma'di Karib al-Kindi, Abu Karima (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
حديث المقدام بن معدي كرب الكندي أبي كريمة (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 462:26
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: I heard Mansur narrating from al-Sha'bi, from al-Miqdam Abu Karimah, that he heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "Upon every Muslim, for the night of the guest, is a mandatory right. If he wakes up in his courtyard, then it is a debt upon him; if he wishes, he may exact it, and if he wishes, he may leave it."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر، حدثنا شعبة، قال: سمعت منصورا، يحدث، عن الشعبي، عن المقدام أبي كريمة، أنه سمع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " على كل مسلم لليلة الضيف حق واجبة، فإن أصبح بفنائه، فهو له عليه دين إن شاء اقتضى وإن شاء ترك "
