Musnad Ahmad 462:4

Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Hariz informed us, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Awf al-Jurashi, from al-Miqdam ibn Ma'di Karib al-Kindi, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Behold, I have been given the Book and something like it along with it. Behold, I have been given the Quran and something like it along with it. Behold, a man will soon recline, satiated, upon his couch and say: 'You must follow the Quran; whatever you find in it of the lawful, declare it lawful, and whatever you find in it of the unlawful, declare it unlawful.' Behold, it is not lawful for you to eat the meat of the domestic donkey, nor any beast of prey that has fangs. Behold, it is not lawful to take the lost property of a person under a covenant (mu'ahid), unless its owner has no need of it. And whoever stays with a people, it is incumbent upon them to provide him hospitality; if they do not provide him hospitality, then he has the right to exact from them the equivalent of his hospitality."
