Musnad Ahmad 695:19

Yunus ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Layth—meaning Ibn Sa'd—narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Abi Habib, from 'Arak, that he heard Marwan at the season (of Hajj) saying: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) cut (the hand of a thief) for a shield, and a camel is better than a shield."
