Hadith of Al-Miswar bin Makhramah Az-Zuhri and Marwan bin Al-Hakam (RA)

Hadith 695:21

Hashim narrated to us, Layth narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Ubaydullah ibn Abi Mulaykah narrated to me, from al-Miswar ibn Makhramah, who said: Cloaks trimmed with gold were gifted to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he distributed them among his companions. Makhramah said: "O Miswar, take us to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, for it has been mentioned to me that he distributed some cloaks." So we went, and he said: "Enter and call him for me." He said: So I entered and called him for him. He came out to me wearing one of those cloaks. He said: "I have hidden this for you, O Makhramah." He said: So he looked at it and said: "He is pleased." Then he gave it to him.
