Musnad Ahmad 626:101

Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, he said: al-Taymi narrated to us, from Bakr, from al-Hasan, from Ibn al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah, from his father: "That the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, performed ablution, and he wiped over his forelock, and he wiped over the leather socks and the turban." Bakr said: "And I heard it from Ibn al-Mughirah."
