Hadith of al-Mughirah ibn Shu‘bah (RA)
Hadith 626:25
Rawh narrated to us, Ibn 'Awn narrated to us, he said: Abu Sa'id informed me, he said: Warrad, the scribe of al-Mughirah, informed me, he said: Mu'awiyah wrote to al-Mughirah, "Write to me something you heard from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace." He said: When he prayed and finished, he would say: "There is no god but Allah." He said: And I think he said: "Alone, there is no partner for Him; to Him belongs the dominion, and to Him belongs the praise, and He is capable of all things. O Allah, there is no preventer for what You have given, and no giver for what You have prevented, and the wealth of the wealthy will not benefit him against You."
