Hadith of al-Mughirah ibn Shu‘bah (RA)
Hadith 626:37
Hisham ibn Abd al-Malik narrated to us, Ubayd Allah ibn Iyad narrated to us, he said: I heard Iyad narrating from Qabisah ibn Burmah, from al-Mughirah ibn Shu’bah, who said: "I went out with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, on one of his travels. We traveled until, when we were in the early part of the dawn, he went off until he was hidden from me, and he went to relieve himself. Then he came and asked for water for purification. He was wearing a Syrian jubbah (outer garment) with tight sleeves, so he inserted his hands from the bottom of the jubbah, then he washed his face and his hands, wiped his head, and wiped over his leather socks."
