Musnad Ahmad 626:45

'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, Zaidah narrated to us, from Ziyad ibn 'Alaqah, who said: I heard al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah saying: The sun eclipsed during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on the day Ibrahim died. The people said: "It eclipsed because of the death of Ibrahim." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, the sun and the moon are two signs from among the signs of Allah. They do not eclipse for the death of anyone, nor for his life. So when you see them, call upon Allah and pray until it clears."
