Musnad Ahmad 626:53

Hajjaj narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, from Abd al-Malik ibn Umayr, from al-Mughirah ibn Shu’bah, that he said: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, taking hold of the waist-wrapper (hujzah) of Sufyan ibn Abi Sahl. He said: "O Sufyan ibn Abi Sahl, do not let your garment trail (isbal), for Allah does not love those who let their garments trail."
