Hadith 626:66
Sufyan narrated to us, from ‘Abdah and ‘Abd al-Malik, we heard Warrad, he wrote to him—meaning al-Mughirah—Mu‘awiyah wrote to him: "Write to me with something you heard from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace." So he wrote to him—meaning al-Mughirah—that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to say: "There is no god but Allah, alone, He has no partner; to Him belongs the dominion, and to Him belongs the praise, and He is capable of all things."
حدثنا سفيان، عن عبدة، وعبد الملك، سمعنا ورادا، كتب إليه يعني المغيرة كتب إليه معاوية: اكتب إلي بشيء سمعته من رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فكتب إليه يعني المغيرة إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، كان يقول: " لا إله إلا الله، وحده لا شريك له، له الملك وله الحمد، وهو على كل شيء قدير "
