Musnad Ahmad 626:7

Qaran ibn Tamam narrated to us, from Sa’id ibn ‘Ubayd al-Ta’i, from ‘Ali ibn Rabi’ah al-Asadi, who said: A man from the Ansar named Qurzah ibn Ka’b died, and he was wailed over. Al-Mughirah ibn Shu’bah went out and ascended the pulpit, then he praised Allah and extolled Him, and then said: What is the matter with wailing in Islam? Verily, I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Indeed, lying upon me is not like lying upon anyone else. Beware, whoever lies upon me intentionally, let him take his seat in the Fire." Beware, and I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Whoever is wailed over, he is punished for what is wailed over him."
