Makkī ibn Ibrāhīm narrated to us, Hāshim—meaning ibn Hāshim—narrated to us, from ‘Umar ibn Ibrāhīm ibn Muḥammad, from Muḥammad ibn Ka‘b al-Quraẓī, from al-Mughīrah ibn Shu‘bah, that he said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood among us in a station, and he informed us of what will be in his nation until the Day of Resurrection. Those who memorized it, memorized it, and those who forgot it, forgot it."
