Musnad Ahmad 626:97

'Affan narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, 'Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib narrated to us, from Warrad, the freed slave of al-Mughirah, from al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Beware of 'it is said' and 'he said' (gossip and hearsay), withholding and demanding (refusing to give what is due and asking for what is not one's right), burying daughters alive, disobedience to mothers, and squandering wealth."
