Musnad Ahmad 652:75

Abu Nu'aym narrated to us, Yunus narrated to us, al-Ayzar ibn Hurayth narrated to us, he said: al-Nu'man ibn Bashir said: Abu Bakr sought permission to enter upon the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he heard the voice of Aisha raised, and she was saying: "By Allah, I have indeed come to know that Ali is more beloved to you than my father," two or three times. So Abu Bakr sought permission and entered, and he leaned toward her and said: "O daughter of so-and-so, do I not hear you raising your voice at the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace?"
