Musnad Ahmad 652:79

Bahz narrated to us, Aban ibn Yazid—who is al-Attar—narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, Khalid ibn 'Arfatah narrated to me, from Habib ibn Salim, from al-Nu'man ibn Bashir, that a man called 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Hunayn—who was nicknamed Qurqur—had intercourse with his wife’s slave girl. He said: So he was brought before al-Nu'man ibn Bashir al-Ansari, who said: "I will certainly judge regarding you with the judgment of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace). If she had made her lawful for you, I will flog you one hundred times; and if she had not made her lawful for you, I will stone you with stones." He said: And she had indeed made her lawful for him, so he flogged him one hundred times. He said: I heard Aban say: And Qatadah informed us that he wrote regarding him to Habib ibn Salim, and he wrote to him with this.
