Musnad Ahmad 652:8

Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, Hisham ibn 'Urwah narrated to us, from his father, from al-Nu'man ibn Bashir, that his father gave him a gift. The mother of al-Nu'man said to him: "Bear witness for my son regarding this gift." So he came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and mentioned that to him. He said to him: "Have you given all of your children what you have given this one?" He said: "No." He said: "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, disliked to bear witness for him."
