Musnad Ahmad 652:83

Waki’ narrated to us, from Isma’il, from al-Sha’bi, and Zakariyya, from al-Sha’bi, from ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Utbah, and Fitr, from Abu al-Duha, from al-Nu’man ibn Bashir, that Bashir came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, wanting to gift a gift to al-Nu’man. He said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Do you have any children other than him?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Have you given all of them what you gave him?" He said: "No." Fitr said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said to him: "Like this," meaning: "Make them equal." And Zakariyya and Isma’il said: "I will not bear witness to an injustice."
