Musnad Ahmad 785:7

Ya'qub narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from Ibn Ishaq, he said: 'Abdullah ibn Abi 'Asim ibn 'Urwah ibn Mas'ud al-Thaqafi narrated to me, that 'Amr ibn al-Sharid narrated to him, that his father narrated to him, that he heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: "If a man drinks [intoxicants], then flog him. Then if he drinks, then flog him. Then if he drinks, then flog him"—four times or five times—"then if he drinks, then kill him."
