Hadith 146:5
Waki' narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from 'Asim ibn 'Ubayd Allah, from 'Abd Allah ibn 'Amir ibn Rabi'ah, from his father: "A man from Banu Fazarah married a woman for a pair of sandals, and the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, permitted his marriage."
حدثنا وكيع، حدثنا سفيان، عن عاصم بن عبيد الله، عن عبد الله بن عامر بن ربيعة، عن أبيه، " أن رجلا، من بني فزارة تزوج امرأة على نعلين، فأجاز النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم نكاحه "
