Hadith 146:7
Waki’ narrated to us, Sufyan and ‘Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from ‘Asim ibn ‘Ubayd Allah, from ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Amir ibn Rabi’ah, from his father, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, more times than I could count and more times than I could enumerate, "using the siwak while he was fasting." And ‘Abd al-Rahman said: "More times than I could enumerate, he was using the siwak while he was fasting."
حدثنا وكيع، حدثنا سفيان، وعبد الرحمن، عن سفيان، عن عاصم بن عبيد الله، عن عبد الله بن عامر بن ربيعة، عن أبيه، قال: رأيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ما لا أعد، وما لا أحصي " يستاك وهو صائم " وقال عبد الرحمن: " ما لا أحصي يتسوك وهو صائم " . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
