Hadith 648:1
'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, from Abu Nadrah, from Qays ibn 'Abbad, who said: I said to 'Ammar ibn Yasir: "O Abu al-Yaqzan, have you considered this matter which you have undertaken—is it by your own opinion, or is it something the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, entrusted to you?" He said: "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, did not entrust anything to us that he did not entrust to the people."
حدثنا عبد الصمد، حدثنا همام، حدثنا قتادة، عن أبي نضرة، عن قيس بن عباد، قال: قلت لعمار بن ياسر: يا أبا اليقظان، أرأيت هذا الأمر الذي أتيتموه: برأيكم، أو شيء عهده إليكم رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم؟ فقال: " ما عهد إلينا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم شيئا لم يعهده إلى الناس "
