Hadith 648:8
Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr narrated to us, Isra’il narrated to us, from Simak, from Tharwan ibn Milhan, who said: We were sitting in the mosque, and Ammar ibn Yasir passed by us. We said to him: "Narrate to us what you heard from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saying regarding the tribulation (fitnah)." He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saying: "There will be people after me who will seize authority, and they will kill one another over it." He said: We said to him: "If someone other than you had narrated this to us, we would not have believed him." He said: "It will surely happen."
حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله بن الزبير، حدثنا إسرائيل، عن سماك، عن ثروان بن ملحان قال: كنا جلوسا في المسجد، فمر علينا عمار بن ياسر، فقلنا له: حدثنا ما سمعت من رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، يقول في الفتنة، فقال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، يقول: " يكون بعدي قوم يأخذون الملك، يقتل عليه بعضهم بعضا " قال: قلنا له: لو حدثنا غيرك ما صدقناه، قال: فإنه سيكون
