Hadith 542:1
Al-Walid ibn Muslim narrated to us, Al-Walid ibn Sulayman narrated to us, that Al-Qasim ibn Abd al-Rahman narrated to them, from Amr ibn Fulan al-Ansari, who said: While he was walking and had let his lower garment (izar) hang low, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) caught up with him, while he (the Prophet) was holding his own forelock and saying: "O Allah, Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant." Amr said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, I am a man with thin shins." He said: "O Amr, indeed Allah has perfected everything He created, O Amr." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) struck with four fingers of his right hand below Amr’s knee and said: "O Amr, this is the place for the lower garment." Then he lifted them, then struck with four fingers below the first four, then said: "O Amr, this is the place for the lower garment." Then he lifted them, then placed them below the second [position] and said: "O Amr, this is the place for the lower garment."
حدثنا الوليد بن مسلم، حدثنا الوليد بن سليمان، أن القاسم ابن عبد الرحمن، حدثهم عن عمرو بن فلان الأنصاري، قال: بينا هو يمشي قد أسبل إزاره، إذ لحقه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، وقد أخذ بناصية نفسه وهو يقول: " اللهم عبدك، ابن عبدك، ابن أمتك " قال عمرو: فقلت: يا رسول الله، إني رجل حمش الساقين، فقال: " يا عمرو، إن الله قد أحسن كل شيء خلقه، يا عمرو " وضرب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بأربع أصابع من كفه اليمنى تحت ركبة عمرو، فقال: " يا عمرو، هذا موضع الإزار " ثم رفعها، ثم ضرب بأربع أصابع من تحت الأربع الأول، ثم قال: " يا عمرو، هذا موضع الإزار " ثم رفعها ، ثم وضعها تحت الثانية فقال: " يا عمرو، هذا موضع الإزار "
