Hadith 455:10
Rawh narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Hamid ibn Bahram narrated to us, he said: I heard Shahr ibn Hawshab, he said: Abu Zabyah narrated to me, he said: Amr ibn Abasah said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "Any Muslim man who shoots an arrow in the way of Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, and it reaches [the target], whether he misses or hits, he has the reward of a slave he has freed from the descendants of Ishmael."
حدثنا روح، قال: حدثنا عبد الحميد بن بهرام، قال: سمعت شهر بن حوشب، قال: حدثني أبو ظبية، قال: قال عمرو بن عبسة: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " أيما رجل مسلم رمى بسهم في سبيل الله عز وجل فبلغ مخطئا أو مصيبا فله من الأجر كرقبة أعتقها من ولد إسماعيل "
