Musnad Ahmad 551:11

Yahya ibn Hammad narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Aziz ibn al-Mukhtar informed us, from Khalid al-Hadhdha’, from Abu Uthman, he said: Amr ibn al-As narrated to me, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent me in command of the army of Dhat al-Salasil. He said: So I came to him, and I said: O Messenger of Allah, which of the people is most beloved to you? He said: "Aisha." He said: I said: From the men? He said: "Her father, then." He said: I said: Then who? He said: "Umar." He said: Then he counted men.
