Abu Salamah al-Khuza'i narrated to us, Bakr bin Mudar narrated to us, he said: I heard Abu Hani' saying: I heard 'Ali bin Rabah saying: I heard 'Amr bin al-'As saying while he was on the pulpit to the people: "How far is your guidance from the guidance of your Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. As for him, he was the most ascetic of people regarding the worldly life, and as for you, you are the most desirous of people for it."
