Hadith of ‘Amr ibn Kharijah (RA)

Hadith 533:1

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Sufyan informed us, from Layth, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, who said: Someone who heard the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, informed me, and from Ibn Abi Layla, that he heard 'Amr ibn Kharijah—Layth said in his hadith: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, addressed us while he was upon his she-camel, and he said: "Behold, charity is not lawful for me, nor for the people of my house." And he took a hair from the hump of his she-camel and said: "Nor what equals this, or what weighs this." "May Allah curse whoever claims to be the son of someone other than his father, or who allies himself with other than his masters. The child belongs to the bed, and for the adulterer is the stone. Verily, Allah has given every person who has a right his right, and there is no bequest for an heir."

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
