Hadith 533:6
Aswad ibn Amir narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, from Layth, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Amr al-Thumali, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, sent with me sacrificial animals and said: "If any of them becomes incapacitated, slaughter it, then strike its sandal in its blood, then strike its side with it, and do not eat from it, nor anyone from your company, and leave it between it and the people."
حدثنا أسود بن عامر، حدثنا شريك، عن ليث، عن شهر بن حوشب، عن عمرو الثمالي، قال: بعث النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم معي هديا وقال: " إذا عطب شيء منها فانحره ثم اضرب نعله في دمه، ثم اضرب به صفحته، ولا تأكل أنت ولا أهل رفقتك، وخل بينه وبين الناس "
