Ya'qub narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from Ibn Ishaq, Ja'far ibn 'Amr ibn Umayyah narrated to me, from his father, who said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, wiping over the khuffayn (leather socks)."
