Musnad Ahmad 524:4

Abu al-Mughirah narrated to us, al-Awza'i narrated to us, Yahya ibn Abi Kathir al-Yamami narrated to us, from Abu Salamah, from Ja'far ibn 'Amr ibn Umayyah al-Damri, from his father: That he saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, wiping over the leather socks (khuffayn) and the turban.
