Musnad Ahmad 93:2

'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, 'Abd al-'Aziz—meaning Ibn Muslim—narrated to us, al-Husayn narrated to us, from 'Abdullah ibn Shaddad ibn al-Had, from Ibn Umm Maktum, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to the mosque and saw a thinness (a lack of people) among the people. He said: "I truly intend to appoint an imam for the people, then I would go out and not be able to find a person who stays behind from the prayer in his house except that I would burn it down upon him." Ibn Umm Maktum said: "O Messenger of Allah, there are palm trees and trees between me and the mosque, and I cannot find a guide every hour. Does it suffice for me to pray in my house?" He said: "Do you hear the iqamah?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Then come to it."
