Narrated to us by Muhammad ibn Ja’far, who said: Narrated to us Shu’bah, from Qatadah, from Anas ibn Malik, that Anisah bint Khubayb—or the daughter of Khubayb—was injured. A tooth of hers was broken, and the people demanded retaliation (qisas). The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The Book of Allah is retaliation." Then her family accepted the blood money (diyah) and forgave.
