Hadith 800:3
Abdullah narrated to us, Shaiban narrated to us, Abu al-Ashhab al-Utaridi Ja'far ibn Hayyan narrated to us, Abd al-Rahman ibn Tarafah ibn Arfajah narrated to us, and he said: And Abd al-Rahman claimed that he saw Arfajah. He said: Arfajah’s nose was injured on the day of al-Kulab, so he fashioned a nose out of silver, but it became foul-smelling. So the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, commanded him to fashion a nose out of gold.
