Musnad Ahmad 1167:63

I found in my father’s book this hadith in his own handwriting: Sa‘id—meaning Ibn Sulayman Sa‘duwayh—narrated to us, he said: ‘Abbad—meaning Ibn al-‘Awwam—narrated to us, from Harun ibn ‘Antarah, from his father, who said: When al-Hajjaj killed Ibn al-Zubayr and crucified him upside down, while he was on the pulpit, Asma’ came, and with her was a slave woman leading her, for her eyesight had gone. She said: "Where is your commander?" He mentioned the story, and she said: "You have lied, but I will tell you a hadith I heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: 'There will emerge from Thaqif two liars; the latter of them is worse than the former, and he is a destroyer (mubir).'"
