Hadith 1194:5
Ya'qub narrated to us, he said: My father narrated to me, from al-Walid ibn Kathir, he said: Abdullah ibn Muslim al-Tawil, the owner of the mushafs, narrated to me, that Kilab ibn Talid, brother of the Banu Sa'd ibn Layth, [said] that while he was sitting with Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, a messenger of Nafi' ibn Jubayr ibn Mut'im ibn 'Adi came to him saying: "Your cousin sends you greetings and says: Inform me, how is the hadith that you narrated to me regarding Asma bint Umays?" Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib said: "Inform him that Asma bint Umays informed me that she heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: 'No one bears the hardship of Medina and its severity except that I will be an intercessor for him or a witness on the Day of Resurrection.'"
حدثنا يعقوب، قال: حدثني أبي، عن الوليد بن كثير قال: حدثني عبد الله بن مسلم الطويل صاحب المصاحف، أن كلاب بن تليد أخا بني سعد بن ليث أنه بينا هو جالس مع سعيد بن المسيب جاءه رسول نافع بن جبير بن مطعم بن عدي يقول: إن ابن خالتك يقرأ عليك السلام ويقول: أخبرني كيف الحديث الذي كنت حدثتني عن أسماء بنت عميس؟ فقال سعيد بن المسيب: أخبره أن أسماء بنت عميس أخبرتني، أنها سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " لا يصبر على لأواء المدينة وشدتها أحد إلا كنت له شفيعا أو شهيدا يوم القيامة "
