Hadith 1194:6
Ya'qub narrated to us, he said: My father narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, he said: Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr narrated to us, from Umm 'Isa al-Jazzar, from Umm Ja'far bint Muhammad ibn Ja'far ibn Abi Talib, from her grandmother Asma bint 'Umays, she said: When Ja'far and his companions were struck [killed], the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered upon me, and I had already tanned forty hides, kneaded my dough, and washed my sons, anointed them with oil, and cleaned them. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Bring my sons of Ja'far to me." She said: So I brought them to him, and he smelled them, and his eyes shed tears. I said: "O Messenger of Allah, may my father and mother be sacrificed for you, what makes you weep? Has news reached you about Ja'far and his companions?" He said: "Yes, they were struck [killed] this day." She said: So I stood up crying out, and the women gathered around me. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went out to his family and said: "Do not neglect the family of Ja'far; prepare food for them, for they have been occupied by the affair of their companion."
حدثنا يعقوب، قال: حدثنا أبي، عن محمد بن إسحاق قال: حدثنا عبد الله بن أبي بكر، عن أم عيسى الجزار، عن أم جعفر بنت محمد بن جعفر بن أبي طالب، عن جدتها أسماء بنت عميس قالت: لما أصيب جعفر وأصحابه دخل علي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وقد دبغت أربعين منيئة، وعجنت عجيني، وغسلت بني ودهنتهم ونظفتهم، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " ائتيني ببني جعفر "، قالت: فأتيته بهم فشمهم وذرفت عيناه، فقلت يا رسول الله، بأبي أنت وأمي ، ما يبكيك؟ أبلغك عن جعفر وأصحابه شيء؟ قال: " نعم، أصيبوا هذا اليوم "، قالت: فقمت أصيح واجتمع إلي النساء، وخرج رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إلى أهله فقال: " لا تغفلوا آل جعفر من أن تصنعوا لهم طعاما فإنهم قد شغلوا بأمر صاحبهم " .................................
