Musnad Ahmad 1304:18

'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Hafs al-Sarraj narrated to us, he said: I heard Shahr ibn Hawshab narrating from Asma bint Yazid, that she used to attend [the gatherings of] the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, with the women. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saw a woman wearing two bracelets of gold, so he said to her: "Would it please you if Allah were to bracelet you with two bracelets of fire?" She said: So she took them off. Asma said: "By Allah, I do not know whether she took them off or I took them off."
