Muhammad ibn Ubayd narrated to us, Dawud—meaning al-Awdi—narrated to us, from Shahr, from Asma bint Yazid, who said: I came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, to pledge allegiance to him. I drew near, and I was wearing two gold bracelets. He caught sight of their glimmer and said: "Cast away the two bracelets, O Asma. Do you not fear that Allah will bracelet you with bracelets of fire?" She said: So I cast them away, and I do not know who took them.
